Our Ministries

The faithful believing sisters of Open Covenant Life Ministry Inc. provide basic education and guidance to poor and needy children in Faisalabad through a home church and home schools established at two different locations. Along with teaching regular school subjects, the children also receive Gospel teaching so that, alongside their educational development, they may learn about the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ and grow spiritually.

These children come from extremely poor families facing difficult circumstances. They include children who have lost both parents, children whose mothers have passed away, and children who are living with their widowed mothers following the death of their fathers. Some children have fathers who struggle with drug addiction and, as a result, neglect the care and well-being of their families and children. Under these circumstances, the children face poverty, a lack of adequate care, and various difficulties in accessing education.

Our faithful believing sisters teach and guide these children with love, sincerity, and a strong sense of responsibility. Our aim is to provide them with basic school education, Gospel teaching, and moral and spiritual guidance so that they can gain knowledge, develop their abilities, grow stronger in their faith, and have opportunities to move towards a better future.

Open Covenant Life Ministry Inc. is committed to supporting poor and needy Christian families in Pakistan, particularly widows, orphaned children, and women and children facing food insecurity.

Many poor Christian families in Pakistan struggle to meet their basic needs because of low incomes, limited employment opportunities, rising living costs, and social disadvantage. Families without a breadwinner, those whose providers have passed away, or those whose income is insufficient to cover household expenses often face particularly difficult circumstances.

In these situations, it becomes extremely difficult for widowed women to support their children, provide food, and meet their daily needs. In many needy families, women and children experience food insecurity, and mothers struggle continuously to provide for their children’s basic needs. Orphaned children, sick individuals, and children from extremely poor households also deserve special attention and support.

Understanding the difficulties faced by these families, we take practical steps to assist them. Our services include providing food packages, supplying essential necessities, and supporting women, children, and families in need. We pay particular attention to the needs of children and mothers who are struggling because of poverty and food insecurity.

We believe that Christian service calls us to treat suffering and needy people with love and compassion, respect their dignity, and play a practical role in reducing their hardships. We stand alongside families by helping provide food and other essential necessities according to their needs.

Our aim is to offer compassionate and practical assistance to widows, orphaned children, women in need, and poor families; support those experiencing food insecurity; and stand with them during difficult circumstances so that they can meet their basic needs and receive support in moving towards a better life.

Open Covenant Life Ministry Inc. is actively working to improve access to clean water in remote settlements across Punjab, Pakistan, particularly in Christian communities and in areas where poor Christian labourers working at brick kilns and their families live.

Many families in these areas face difficulties accessing clean and safe drinking water. In some locations, people rely on contaminated or unsafe groundwater, increasing the risk of diarrhoea, cholera, and other waterborne diseases. Contaminated water can pose a serious threat to the health of children, women, and other members of the community.

As part of our ministry, we have installed hand pumps and motor pumps in certain areas, taking into consideration the needs of local communities and large families. Local residents are using these facilities and benefiting from them. These initiatives are part of our efforts to improve water access for needy communities and reduce the daily hardships they face.

We deeply recognise this need and understand that many more remote settlements, Christian communities, and families of brick-kiln workers require and deserve access to clean and safe water. We want to extend this essential service to these communities as well. To achieve this, we aim to develop further projects for installing hand pumps and motor pumps, taking into account local needs, groundwater quality, and technical feasibility.

We welcome cooperation with churches, charitable organisations, and other partners to improve needy families’ access to safe drinking water and help reduce the health risks associated with consuming contaminated water.

Our aim is to serve needy communities by providing clean and safe water, protecting human health, and bringing positive change to the lives of families who face difficulties obtaining this basic necessity.

Open Covenant Life Ministry Inc. is actively working to help poor and needy families in Pakistan gain access to healthcare and essential medical services.

Many needy families in Pakistan are unable to receive timely medical treatment because of poverty, financial difficulties, and limited access to healthcare facilities. Women are particularly at risk during pregnancy and childbirth when proper medical care, timely treatment, and access to hospitals are unavailable. Tragically, some women lose their lives during childbirth.

We strive to assist women in need with the costs of medical check-ups during pregnancy, essential medicines, childbirth, and Caesarean-section operations when medically necessary. Our aim is to help protect the health of mothers and children and enable them to access medical assistance in a timely manner.

We also provide practical assistance to needy individuals in accessing treatment and healthcare services at government hospitals. In addition, according to our available resources, we seek to help Christian brothers and sisters in need who are suffering from illnesses or have been injured in accidents by assisting with essential medical care, doctor-prescribed medicines, and treatment expenses.

Our aim is to serve people in need with the love and compassion of Christ, help reduce their medical hardships, and support them in accessing timely treatment and healthcare services. We seek to make this ministry more effective and expand its reach through the cooperation of churches, charitable organisations, and other partners.

Open Covenant Life Ministry Inc. is currently conducting church services in a residential building. Our vision is to establish our own church building so that church ministries can continue on a permanent and long-term basis and the spiritual and social needs of the Christian community can be better served.

Open Covenant Life Ministry Inc. is committed to serving brick-kiln workers and their families in Pakistan by protecting their rights, promoting their welfare, and helping them access opportunities for a better life. Many brick-kiln workers’ families face difficulties because of poverty, low incomes, debt, and limited educational and economic opportunities. Some families become trapped in forced labour and exploitative conditions under the burden of debt, deeply affecting their freedom, human dignity, and their children’s future.

Many brick-kiln workers’ families struggle because of poverty, low incomes, and the burden of debt. Some become caught in a cycle of debt and are forced to live under conditions of bonded labour and exploitation. In such circumstances, protecting families’ freedom, human dignity, and the future of their children is of utmost importance.

The purpose of our ministry is to help brick-kiln workers’ families work towards freedom from debt burdens and forced labour, raise awareness of their legal rights, and assist them in accessing necessary legal and social guidance. According to our available resources, we also seek to help these families meet their basic needs, including food, medical assistance, and children’s education, so that they may live better and more dignified lives.

We promote awareness of the importance of fair wages, safe working conditions, workers’ rights, and the elimination of forced labour. To achieve these goals, we seek to support brick-kiln workers’ families in cooperation with charitable organisations, legal aid organisations, and other partners.

Open Covenant Life Ministry Inc. also intends to serve Christian labourers working on agricultural lands and in various business establishments, as well as girls and women employed as domestic workers in urban informal settlements, with a commitment to protecting their rights, safety, and freedom.

Because of poverty and economic hardship, some labourers and domestic workers face low wages, non-payment of wages, unfair treatment, debt burdens, and other exploitative conditions. In some circumstances, their freedom of movement is restricted, and they face difficulties leaving their employment voluntarily or returning to their families.

We aim to help affected individuals understand their fundamental and legal rights, obtain appropriate legal guidance, and access relevant institutions. Our purpose is to support efforts to free people from forced labour, exploitation, and all forms of inhumane treatment; promote the protection of women and girls; and help them access opportunities to live with dignity, safety, and independence.

We seek to cooperate with charitable organisations, human rights organisations, legal professionals, and other partners to provide effective assistance to needy labourers, domestic workers, and individuals experiencing exploitation.

Open Covenant Life Ministry Inc. is committed to serving people in need with the love and compassion of Christ and respect for human dignity, regardless of religion, nationality, or community. Our aim is to provide practical assistance to affected individuals as they seek freedom, protection, legal guidance, and opportunities for a better future.

Emergency Assistance and Service During Natural Disasters

Open Covenant Life Ministry Inc. believes that protecting human lives and helping people in need during times of crisis and suffering are important expressions of Christian love, compassion, and responsibility. During floods, earthquakes, severe storms, and other natural disasters in Pakistan, many people face serious threats to their lives, homes, and basic necessities. In such situations, immediate assistance is essential. However, due to limited resources and a lack of available relief facilities, reaching every affected person in time remains a major challenge.

Our ministry’s primary priority is to make efforts to save human lives during emergencies. When a flood, earthquake, or other natural disaster occurs, we make every effort to inform the relevant government departments and rescue authorities and seek their cooperation. Our aim is to communicate the situation of people in danger to the relevant authorities and, wherever possible, obtain assistance for rescue operations.

In Pakistan, government rescue and relief assistance often does not reach many affected areas in time. Many people become trapped in dangerous situations where immediate help is needed, but available resources are limited. In such circumstances, we try to contact government authorities and seek their cooperation. If immediate government assistance is unavailable, we make efforts to serve through self-help according to our limited capacity and available resources. Throughout these efforts, we consider the safety of human lives, including our own safety and that of others.

Our ministry has limited financial resources, and donations are not regularly available. Therefore, we do not claim to carry out large-scale rescue operations or meet the needs of every affected family. The reality is that, despite our limited resources, we consider making efforts to save human lives, informing the relevant authorities, and seeking available assistance important parts of our service.

During floods, people may become trapped by fast-flowing water, submerged settlements, and other dangerous conditions. Earthquakes can cause buildings to collapse, people to suffer injuries, and families to lose their homes. In such situations, timely rescue and assistance from trained personnel are extremely important. We seek to communicate dangerous situations to the relevant authorities and, wherever possible, help affected people obtain assistance. We also recognize the importance of trained rescue personnel and appropriate safety measures when dealing with dangerous rescue situations.

We believe that during natural disasters, efforts to save human lives are just as important as the distribution of relief supplies. When people face life-threatening situations, timely information, effective communication, and access to available rescue resources can play an important role. For this reason, our focus is on protecting human lives during emergencies and making efforts to obtain the assistance people need.

Our Christian service is not limited to the Christian community or churches. During times of suffering, every human life matters, regardless of religion, nationality, ethnicity, or social background. We consider helping people in need with compassion, love, and respect an important Christian responsibility.

After natural disasters, affected families may need food, clean drinking water, shelter, medical treatment, and other basic necessities. However, due to a severe shortage of donations and financial resources, our ministry is not able to meet all these needs independently. Wherever possible, we try to seek cooperation from relevant relief organizations and help people access available assistance. We consider it important to describe our work honestly and clearly acknowledge our limited capacity.

Open Covenant Life Ministry Inc. does not aim to claim activities that we are not carrying out or for which we do not have the necessary resources. We remain committed to making efforts to protect human lives according to our current circumstances and limited resources, communicating information to government rescue authorities, and seeking their cooperation. Our service is based on honesty, responsibility, compassion, and practical action within our means.

Guided by the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, we consider standing alongside people in distress with love and compassion an important Christian responsibility. We pray that God will grant us wisdom, courage, and the resources needed to help people in need and fulfill our role in protecting human lives.

We believe that meaningful service does not always require extensive resources to begin, although limited resources also mean that not every task is possible. Therefore, we remain committed to serving according to our actual circumstances and available resources, making every effort to obtain cooperation from government authorities, and prioritizing the protection of human lives during emergencies. Our aim is to express the love of the Lord Jesus Christ through practical actions that reflect our genuine capacity and circumstances.
