Testimony: suffering, sacrifice, and steadfastness in Christ for the sake of the Gospel

Through Open Covenant Life Ministry Inc., we are committed to serving the Lord Jesus Christ, proclaiming the Gospel, teaching the Word of God, and bringing a message of love, hope, and encouragement to people in need. Our life and ministry are centered on faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the teachings of His Word, and serving humanity with love. We have made a commitment to serve the Lord faithfully and share the message of the Gospel with as many people as possible.

Christian ministry in Pakistan presents various challenges. The majority of the population is Muslim, while the Christian community is a religious minority. In such an environment, proclaiming the Gospel, teaching the Bible, and providing spiritual guidance require wisdom, patience, love, and perseverance. Despite these challenges, we remain committed to sharing the love of the Lord Jesus Christ and the message of the Gospel with others respectfully, peacefully, and wisely.

While proclaiming the Gospel and bearing witness to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have faced many hardships. During our ministry, we have endured insulting and humiliating attitudes, opposition, and violence. We have also experienced circumstances in which we were held in custody. We have endured hunger and thirst and walked many kilometres to continue our service in the name of the Lord. These experiences have not been easy, but our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ reminds us to remain steadfast in our commitment to His service. We do not regard these hardships as a reason for personal pride, but as part of our journey in ministry. In every circumstance, we remain dependent on the grace and guidance of the Lord.

We understand that serving the Gospel is not always an easy journey. At times, it involves loneliness, exhaustion, deprivation, opposition, and physical and emotional suffering. However, our faith reminds us that the purpose of Christian ministry is not to seek personal recognition or worldly gain, but to glorify the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and faithfully share His message. We are committed to continuing our service with wisdom, love, and righteousness despite difficulties, while also giving importance to our safety and the safety of those who serve alongside us.

Our prayer is that the Lord will keep us in His grace so that we may remain steadfast in Christ, walk in righteousness, grow stronger in faith, and continue moving forward faithfully in our calling. We ask the Lord for wisdom, strength, patience, and spiritual perseverance so that, even in difficult circumstances, love may remain in our hearts, truth and the Gospel may be spoken through our words, and our actions may reflect the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. We desire that our lives and ministry become a source of faith, hope, and encouragement to others.

Prayer is an important part of our ministry. People from different religious and social backgrounds approach us and ask us to pray for their illnesses, personal struggles, family problems, and other difficulties in life. We pray for them in faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and encourage them to approach God with hope and trust. We believe that prayer is a fundamental part of Christian life and ministry, and that trusting in God can provide courage and spiritual strength during difficult times.

During our ministry, we have also encountered people who testify that their health or circumstances improved after prayer. We give thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ and respectfully listen to their testimonies. It is important to us to treat every person with love, dignity, and compassion, regardless of their religion, nationality, or social background. We respect people’s privacy and safety and do not disclose their personal lives or religious identities.

We believe that proclaiming the Gospel is not limited to sharing a message through words. It also includes understanding people’s difficulties, praying for them, offering hope, and providing practical assistance wherever possible. We desire that the love of the Lord Jesus Christ be reflected through our character, words, and practical service. Our responsibility is to treat people with mercy, integrity, and respect and to put Christian teachings into practice through our ministry.

Our ministry also places importance on children’s education and development, caring for widows and orphans, supporting families in need, and promoting the welfare of disadvantaged communities. We believe that every child deserves access to education and opportunities for a better future, and every family in need deserves to live with dignity and respect. Therefore, our vision is to combine spiritual ministry with education, humanitarian compassion, and assistance in meeting basic needs.

We are committed to creating better opportunities for people living in villages and underserved communities throughout Pakistan. Our vision is for children to receive an education, families to become better able to meet their basic needs, people to gain awareness of their rights, and vulnerable communities to pursue their protection and a better future through peaceful and lawful means. We believe that education, awareness, and cooperation are important ways to bring positive change to society.

The purpose of our Christian ministry is not to promote hatred or hostility toward any religious community, but to put the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ—love, mercy, forgiveness, and service—into practice. We value the dignity and worth of every human being and desire for people from different backgrounds to live together in peace and mutual respect. We believe that love and service can help build trust and promote goodwill among people.

We draw guidance from the teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ in Acts 1:8, where His disciples were entrusted with the responsibility of being His witnesses through the power of the Holy Spirit. This biblical teaching reminds us that our witness to the Gospel should be reflected in our lives, character, and service. We are committed to faithfully sharing the message of the Lord Jesus Christ and bearing witness to His love through our ministry.

We understand that Christian ministry can involve difficulties and trials, but we remain committed to fulfilling our responsibilities through prayer, wisdom, patience, and faith. We trust in the grace of the Lord and pray that He will keep us steadfast in righteousness, guide our steps, and give us the strength to continue serving with integrity. We also consider the safety of ourselves and those serving alongside us to be important, because ministry must be carried out responsibly and wisely.

Through Open Covenant Life Ministry Inc., our vision is to advance Gospel proclamation, Bible teaching, children’s education, assistance to families in need, clean water initiatives, basic healthcare support, and the welfare of vulnerable communities. We welcome fellowship and cooperation with churches, pastors, Christian ministries, missionary organizations, and people around the world who value faith, love, human dignity, and practical service.

Our prayer is that the Lord Jesus Christ will use our ministry for His purpose, keep us faithful to our commitment, and enable us to bring hope and encouragement to people in need. We pray that through our service, people may receive spiritual guidance, education, practical assistance, and opportunities for a better life. We invite our Christian brothers and sisters, churches, and ministry partners to join us in prayer, fellowship, and humanitarian service.

Our testimony is that faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, prayer, love, and service are the foundation of our Christian life. For the sake of proclaiming the Gospel, we have endured insulting and humiliating attitudes, violence, confinement, hunger, thirst, and long journeys on foot. Yet our prayer is that the Lord will keep us in His grace so that we may remain steadfast in Christ, walk in righteousness, and continue moving forward faithfully. We are committed to proclaiming the Gospel, teaching the Word of God, standing alongside those in need, and treating every person with dignity and respect. Our vision is that, by the grace of the Lord, our ministry will bring hope, spiritual growth, education, and practical improvement to people’s lives.

May the love, grace, and peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
